Sick People on the Street Project

From the work of the Thai Missing People Information Center to Prevent Humantraffiking by the Mirror Foundation, we found out that many of the missing cases are actually elderlies who have brain disorders or Alzheimer's disease that got lost. Some of them have been wandering around and living outside for so long to the point where they eventually become homeless and have a high risk of being abused to death. However, the problem has not been raised in the public and no related agencies in the field have taken any action. “Sick People on the Street” work as a case notification center, examine the issue and bring the sick homeless into hospital treatment programs. Furthermore, we also cooperate with nursing homes or care homes so the patients will have a proper shelter to stay instead of living on the street. The Mirror Foundation is an NGO that makes a study about brain disorder patients in Thailand, coordinates and gathers information from other related agencies in the field, and also spread it to the public in order to create awareness of how to prevent and treat brain disorderd patients.

 Share for Change Project
In the beginning, our project has started in response to identifying the problem of clothing shortage in remote areas, evacuation centers, and among those who were affected by disasters. We realized that we could bring back the value of old items through "reuse". For this reason, we have been accepting donations of all clothes that are still in good condition from city people and forward them to those in need all over the country.

 Thai Missing Project
We are the first and only NGO in Thailand that operates as a center that accepts missing people notification to provide assistance, coordinate with agencies working in tracking, and help those who have risks to health and safety. Our center has a direct role in giving advices and assisting families of the missing people to be able to enter the process of judgment, which is a key factor in searching and helping the missing people to safely return back to their families.
